MACRT is a Certified SAR Canine Unit with the Massachusetts Search and
Rescue Dog Committee
MACRT is a Qualified SAR Organization with Northeast Wilderness Search and
Rescue, Inc.

Upon request of law enforcement agencies and fire/rescue departments, MACRT can provide trained search dog teams capable of performing in emergency response situations occurring within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. MACRT also will respond upon request to any location within the New England area in situations where mutual aid is needed to assist in locating lost and missing people. MACRT does not self-deploy but may call appropriate agencies within the Commonwealth to offer our services. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We will be more than happy to help you understand our capabilities and how we can assist in your emergency response efforts. Please note that MACRT does not respond to searches for drugs or explosives. Nor does MACRT participate in criminal pursuits but MACRT is willing to search for victims of crimes or for evidence of a crime. Similarly, MACRT does not investigate potential arson fires, but MACRT can search for victims of fires. |
