MASSACHUSETTS
CANINE RESPONSE TEAM, INC.
TO JOIN MACRT..........
MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Now that you have read our Question/Answer Package, you are aware that search and rescue is time-intensive, physically and mentally demanding, expensive and potentially dangerous. While the "idea" of a having a SAR dog, ready and able for all emergencies may sound wonderful, reality is that your dog will be in training for one to two years and will likely not get "used" during that training period. If, however, you are still interested in joining MACRT, or even just coming out and watching us train a few times, email admin@macrt.net to set up a time to come out and observe the team and then complete the following Application.
Your Application should clearly and accurately describe your dog (if any), and identify any outdoor, first aid or past rescue work skills which you may already have.
To expedite your application, you may email
the Application to us but we will need to have a signed copy for our files so
please print out a hard-copy of your completed Application and either send it to
us or bring it with you to your first training.
THANKS and we look forward to meeting
you!
